About Kaylin McGee

Hello! My name is Kaylin Shipley. I began my college career in August of 2019 and graduated in May of 2023 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Throughout my experience at The University of Tennessee, I have been thoroughly enriched by the education, culture, and relationships gained from the past four years. To say that my path thus far has been anything less than challenging would be an understatement. Studying in such a studious setting has taught me to be organized, creative, honorable, passionate, and, most of all, persistent. My skills in biomedical/mechanical engineering, chemistry, project management, laboratory work, programming, marketing, leadership, communication, data analysis, hands-on mechanical building, CAD, and problem solving would be a great asset to any company looking to hire a highly enthusiastic engineer. I have a lot of experience in leadership and communication skills. I am currently a remote project manager at Practis Software Development. I also have background in organic chemistry, as I have worked in the organic chemistry lab at University of Tennessee Medical Center. I pride myself on being engaged with my coworkers and helping them to work through any problem that arises. I was Salutatorian of my Powell High School class of 2019, and I continue to strive to be the best at what I do.
