About Keisha Byrd

With over eight years of progressive experience in financial analysis, billing, accounts receivable/payable, and reconciliation, paired with early exposure to federal financial systems through internships with the National Reconnaissance Office and the CIA, I bring a strong foundation in both private and government financial operations. In my role as A/R Administrative Specialist/Office Manager at Miller Pipeline, I helped recover over $1 million in past-due receivables by identifying discrepancies, correcting contract billing issues, and improving cross-functional collaboration. At Doggett Concrete, I managed AR for three entities, cut DSO significantly, and helped reduce write-offs through a revamped collection strategy. These roles required meticulous attention to detail, deep knowledge of financial processes, and the ability to analyze and act on complex data sets. My hands-on experience working with Sage 300, Rapid ERP, AS400, SharePoint, and advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) enables me to navigate financial data quickly and effectively. I also have experience auditing and processing government vouchers, having supported Finance Officers at the NRO in ensuring timely and accurate payments.
