About Keith Billick

I have over 29 years of experience in community planning, urban design and landscape architecture, primarily as a project manager / team lead. My varied professional experience includes working in the public, private and academic sectors. This varied background includes many projects types, such as; comprehensive planning, entitlements, zoning, master planning, park and recreation, civic developments, educational facilities, mixed use developments, residential communities, streetscapes and stormwater management. This knowledge and experience has given me the skills to successfully facilitate contentious community outreach processes, assisting clients in articulating their vision and garnering support from the community as well as the regulatory agencies. As direct client contact and project manager for a majority of the projects I work on. I've learned to utilize my experience in hands-on planning and design to lead larger multi-discipline design teams and build collaborative relationships all the while focusing on each clients unique project and their expectations. I am passionate about context sensitive design, and knows that through collaborative engagement, intentional planning, site specific design, environmental protection, and responsible finances the projects we work on will add value to the community and for our clients. This collaborative process when integrated, from concept to implementation, leads to innovative, uniquely-suited and achievable solutions. Individually or as a part of a larger team, its personally and professionally satisfying knowing that I’ve added value to the built and natural environments.
