About Robert Goss

For more than 30 years I have managed diverse teams of design and recreation professionals, and have been responsible for the development of more than $100 million of public spaces and recreation facilities in northern California. My career encompasses private sector consulting in landscape architecture and land planning, and executive-level local government management emphasizing recreation facility programming and development; land planning, resource planning and conservation; construction administration, and recreation event programming. The development of innovative, inspiring, and award-winning facilities and recreation programs for community leisure, health and welfare has been a personal source of career satisfaction. My career has been established on the ability to meet strategic goals, objectives, and deadlines; work with and support agency management, elected officials, public commissions and committees; engage and involve the public and organized community associations; successfully manage teams; effectively communicate and present ideas and information; and maintain a consistent dedication to innovation, efficiency, and accountability.
