Background
About Kelly Brown
My experience in the construction industry has spanned 15 years and taken me from quantity surveying for contractors, to development and project management with housing developments. I have increasingly been drawn towards the residential sector, and feel that retrofit and supporting social housing with their decarbonisation targets both uses my skillset and my environmental sense of responsibility. I enjoy retrofit work, and a variety of tasks - with the VOR Group typically clients are housing associations, often having been awarded grants and needing a one stop shop approach to delivering insulation work. And with my own private consultancy I often support individual home owners as they navigate what they would like to do and realistic. I am practically minded and happy to hand hold at all stages of projects - big or small. Key skills: • Project development and management • Retrofit and PAS2035 SHDF • Due diligence reporting • Surveying and appraisals of sites • Key stakeholder engagement management • Knowledge of commercial management systems
