About Kennedy Humphrey

HR leader with 12 years of professional experience and over three years leading the full HR function for a growing multi-state, multi-entity organization. I currently oversee HR operations supporting 50+ employees across locations in California, Washington, and Texas. My role spans the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll administration, benefits management, and HR compliance. I partner closely with leadership to build scalable HR systems, support organizational growth, and ensure teams have the structure and support they need to succeed. At Gaia Flooring, I led the migration from ADP RUN to ADP Workforce Now after the organization outgrew the prior system. The upgrade consolidated employees across multiple entities into a unified HRIS, improving manager visibility and streamlining workflows for timecard and PTO approvals while enhancing payroll reporting and HR operations.I have also developed key company infrastructure including our first employee handbook, PTO program, and several operational policies that support clarity, compliance, and consistency across teams.I enjoy building HR programs that support both business growth and strong workplace culture. My experience spans HR operations, HR business partnership, employee relations, and HR systems implementation. My professional interests include HR Business Partner roles, People Operations leadership, and HR strategy supporting growing organizations.
