About Kent MacPhee

For the past 20+ years, Kent was a dynamic leader and change maker in the global Business Process Outsourcing industry with On Line Support “OLS” and Advantage Communications Inc “ACI”. As EVP and COO at On Line Support, he helped champion the company growth from 30 employees to over 1,700 including expansion into seven new markets across Eastern Canada. The company eventually sold to India based HGS and lead to one of the largest business transactions in the history of the province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. In 2008, with a group of local investors, he led the acquisition of Charlottetown based, Advantage Communications Inc. He took on the role as President and CEO and lead triple digit growth including expansion to new markets including Kingston, Jamaica. In 2017, Kent stepped back from active duty but has stayed with the company as a consultant and Chairman of the Board of Directors. In June of 2018, he and business partner, Kent Scales purchased Claddagh Holdings Inc, parent company of two iconic restaurants The Claddagh Oyster House and The Olde Dublin Pub in Charlottetown, PEI. A proud native Island son, Kent is married to the former Michelle Costello and they have two grown children, Connor and Sophie. Kent has always been very active in the community serving on various boards and committees. He is an active elder, board manager and choir member at Burnside Presbyterian Church.
