About Kevin Labas

I am a health and safety professional with experience serving clients in construction and general industry. I value the relationships that we have made and the ongoing success we have together keeping employees safe! I hold a professional certificate as a CSP and am working towards my CIH. I am passionate about the health and safety business and am working on continuously growing my professional network. I started my working career with many odd jobs including as a laborer for an excavation contractor in Vermont. I started to pursue my EHS career while interning for both power transmission and coal mining companies. In 2012, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science "with distinction" in Environmental Engineering, and a minor in Environmental Health and Occupational Safety from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. I landed a job in the consulting business right out of college, where I have been since. I have developed and maintained many successful client relationships, and I take pride in the improved safety performance we have been able to achieve together. My career experience has been a balance between operations management of a small business, and utilization of my technical skill set. My experience running a business while conducting health and safety consulting in safety gives me a very unique and business-friendly approach to developing solutions to my clients safety compliance needs. My technical strengths are in safety training, engaging and energizing the field level employees and supervisors in safety programs, industrial hygiene / health hazards, written program development and implementation, creating simplified approaches to common safety compliance items, and finding the right solution to any health and safety need.
