About Kevin Smets

Thank you for visiting my LinkedIn profile. My name is Kevin Smets. I started my career as a credit analyst in the leasing business and after a few years I was able to enter the fascinating world of sales in the same field. I build up my leasing and finance knowledge within 2 different leasing companies to be able to call myself a leasing expert. After 17 years in the same market I decided to challenge myself and change to the Railway business. Alpha Trains, headquartered in Luxembourg, is the leading and largest private operating lessor of rolling stock (passenger trains and locomotives) in Continental Europe. Alpha Trains' fleets are in use by many public and private operators in 22 European countries. Alpha Trains' shareholders are Arcus Infrastructure Fund, AMP Capital and Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investment).
