About Kevin Soderberg

Hello there! My name is Kevin Soderberg and I was born and raised in Michigan. I moved to Grand Rapids for my undergraduate at Grand Valley State University and graduated with a Bachelor's in Social Sciences in 2019. I also recently finished my Master of Divinity degree at Western Theological Seminary. I helped lead with Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) during my time as a student at Grand Valley, and decided to join their team after graduating. I've worked as Campus Staff with them for the last six years, and absolutely love being able to come alongside college students and lead them toward Jesus. I personally was guided by Cru staff as a student, and now feel privileged to be able to do the same with other students. I'm very passionate about teaching people about Jesus, which is one of the reasons that I felt led to seminary. I'm also very passionate about studying Scripture, and love to continually learn more and more about what it looks like to follow Jesus. A main point of study during my time at seminary has been the connection between the Old Testament and New Testament, and God's redemptive plan for His people. I've enjoyed writing about these topics, and weaving my knowledge of the biblical languages into my studies. Along with work and seminary, I've had the opportunity to go on and lead different mission trips to various places, including Panama City Beach, the Netherlands, and the Middle East. I've particularly loved going to the Middle East, where I've had the opportunity to visit five times. I absolutely love the culture there, and getting to know people there and share Jesus with them has been amazing! I'm not sure what my future holds and where I'll be, but I'm very open to a variety of different options! Wherever I end up though, I desire to make the way of Jesus known to those in my sphere of influence.
