Background
About Kevin Ward
Life is better outside — I make sure everyone gets a front-row seat.My career journey began at my local public pool, where over six summers I grew from a nervous lifeguard into a confident manager, dedicated swim coach, and supportive mentor. From there, I expanded into adventure-based roles—facilitating climbing programs with Mizzou Rec and leading educational initiatives for Missouri State Parks. At the University of Missouri, I turned my love of the outdoors into a career, earning a B.S. in Parks, Recreation, Sport, and Tourism with an emphasis in Natural Resource Management. In 2025, I was honored with a scholarship from the Missouri Parks and Recreation Association, recognizing my commitment to the field. Now, I help provide world-class skiing and snowboarding experiences at Copper Mountain, one of Colorado’s top resorts. I take pride in creating experiences that spark adventure, push limits, and inspire a love for the outdoors.
