About Kevin Willis

Hello! Thanks for coming to my LinkedIn page! My name is Kevin Willis and I am a professional with six years of full time experience in office management, event planning, talent recruiting & development, and professional writing. My professional area of focus is in serving others and helping develop my talent to be the best versions of themselves. Helping my team and peers to learn new processes or skills and seeing the "light bulb" moment happen when they learn something is always my favorite thing to see as it means I've been able to help them grow and learn. I believe in bringing a personable, friendly, and learner focused mindset into the workspace to create and facilitate a proactive & open environment. I am a proud alumni of EKU (2013 AND 2015!) and Kentuckian. Growing up in Appalachia and working primarily at institutions focused on serving the region has helped impact my growth and development as a professional. Because of this, I have dedicated myself to pay it forward and pass on the same lessons and kindness I received in my journey to those I work with. While my past roles have been primarily on campus in housing and campus visits, I currently serve as a Membership Manager for NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. My role allows me to connect directly with members and non-members alike to help serve them in their professional development goals and needs. Send me a message if you'd like to chat more or connect with me! I am always happy to get to know others, share ideas or processes, or simply connect. Ask me about my favorite stories working in residence life and campus visits over the years. Looking forward to hearing from you!
