Hello and thank you for your interest in my profile! I am finishing my degree this term and am eager to continue building my professional career and apply my education. I am highly motivated by accomplishment, a confident communicator, and I love to learn. I am studying business administration concentrating in human resources management and organizational behaviour. My peers and instructors consistently recognize me as a top performer and I have several awards, including placing on the Dean's List as a Student of Highest Distinction and several thousand dollars in scholarships. My education exposes me to the complexity of organizational and refines my skills in critical thinking, articulation, collaboration - all with the aim of becoming a better decision maker and leader. Additionally, I am extensively involved in extracurriculars that involve event planning as a board member, managing fundraising campaigns, volunteering, and competitions (debate, business cases, entrepreneurial pitching). I recently worked as a human resources assistant to executive management in a health care facility. I was entrusted to help process payroll, create new employee profiles and on-boarding packages, interview candidates and check references. I serve in the Army as a logistics officer where I am responsible for leading a platoon of 40+ personnel. I have undergone rigorous training that have ingrained teamwork, determination, and accountability in all that I do.
