About Kiersten Bingham

When did you first discover your passion? For me, I discovered my passion for connecting people with causes, products and ideas as a little kid. In first grade when Pokemon cards were outlawed at school, I collected signatures and presented the idea of a lunchtime Pokemon card trading club to our principal. In fifth grade, I decided to start a campaign to allow students to choose their own seats once per week. However, it wasn't until I was in college that I was able to put a name to this passion-communications. When I took my first public relations class, I felt a fire light in my soul and I knew this was my passion. Connecting people with causes, products and ideas is what I live for. I started my career working in a public relations firm where I learned to adjust my communication to a large variety of products and clients. Next, I moved to corporate communications where I focused on marketing the company by working with large, national media organizations around the globe and representing C-level executives. Lately, I have been working in the field of internal communications, creating strategic communications campaigns and managing the digital employee experience. This array of communication experiences has given me a unique perspective on the vast landscape of communications. Viewing the field from these different angles has built me into a communications expert and has allowed me to understand communications on a different level. Now with a recently completed master's degree, I am excited and eager to bring my skills and passion to a new cause.
