Background

About Kiersten Wilson

Environmental engineering graduate student seeking to enter the environmental consulting industry, with a strong foundation in site investigation, contaminant fate and transport, and remediation design. My academic and research experience includes applied PFAS treatment in a variety of contaminated media, supported by advanced coursework in environmental organic chemistry, contaminant fate and transport, advanced water and wastewater treatment, hydrogeology, and remediation engineering.I have gained consulting experience through internships and applied project work, supporting environmental assessment and remediation through data analysis, technical reporting, and field activities. These roles strengthened my skills in interpreting environmental data, applying regulatory frameworks, and translating complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations. I bring a detail-oriented, field-driven mindset and an enthusiasm for applying emerging technologies to our ever-evolving contamination challenges. I am most excited by projects that directly improve contaminated land and water and protect the communities that depend on them.
