I'm a qualified Architect (RIBA/RIAI) from Ireland, with 13 years’ experience. I have been Project Architect, in Dublin, Stockholm, Cape Town and Kigali on various projects ranging from community and disaster relief projects, large social housing projects, cultural projects, private dwellings, installations and international competitions with costs ranging from to €11million. In recent years, my work with local communities in the field of social and affordable housing has delved further into social responsibility, looking closer at testing cases of social attenuation, seeking to underscore these with architectural and/or urban articulations. This has taken me from Northern Ireland to New Orleans, to South Africa and now to post-genocide Rwanda, where I am working with several youth, women and refugee community groups all dealing with matters pertaining to conflict resolution & reconciliation, and/or human rights.
