About Kimberley Chadwick

I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years working with adults with mental health and was team leader of supported accommodation with adults with physical disabilities.I changed my career path and went to work in children’s residential gaining my NVQ level 5 in leadership and management in children’s social care. I trained as a parenting programme facilitator in Oxford in a intervention named ‘Take 3’ which focused on nurture, structure and self care. I have worked for the Adolescent Support Team since 2009 now known as the ARC ( Adolescent Resource Centre ) we work with young people / families on the edge of care. I became an Accredited Practitioner within 12 months of completing my parenting facilitator training. I took a secondment to gain additional experience and was a manager of the contact and assessment team. I learned so much in this role though it was mainly office based and I missed my face to face work and working in the community and was grateful to be welcomed back to the ARC. I really enjoy working with families and helping to make a difference
