As an Employment Specialist at a MHASF, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals in their journey toward personal and professional fulfillment. With a passion for mental health advocacy through an intersectional lens, I help individuals facing mental health challenges overcome barriers to volunteering/employment and achieve meaningful success in peer support space. With firsthand understanding as a Pinay-American and someone with lived experiences, I approach my work with empathy, cultural competence, and a deep sense of purpose. My mission is to bridge gaps in mental health services, improve access to resources, and ensure that individuals from diverse backgrounds feel supported and heard throughout their employment journey. My goal is to continue advocating for mental health and creating spaces where individuals feel supported, confident, and capable of achieving their professional and personal goals.
