About Kinga Sokol

I’m an Assistant Research Manager at NIHR with experience leading publication processes, coordinating research delivery and supporting large-scale health studies. I manage a diverse portfolio of publications, working directly with authors, study teams and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outputs and timely delivery. Recently, I co-led the transition of a major research programme into new delivery systems and represented my team at organisational level discussions, strengthening communication between leadership and staff. My background also includes coordinating breast cancer research, where I oversaw participant recruitment, regulatory compliance and staff training. I hold an MSc in Global Health and a BSc in Sociology and I’m passionate about applying research to improve health and social care outcomes. I’m particularly interested in roles that bridge research management, global health and policy translation, where I can combine project coordination skills with my academic foundation to make a tangible impact.
