About Kira Johnson

I enjoy working in human resources because it is extremely rewarding to contribute to that feeling someone gets when they get a new job and embrace the possibilities that opportunity opens up for them and their family. I have a bit of an entrepreneurial spirit and am passionate about organizing. I am a very hands on and visual learner. I am a self starter who is a team player with leadership abilities. While I am confident in my capabilities, I am humble enough to ask for guidance when I meet a challenge. Although I am a quick learner who thrives in a fast pace environment, I appreciate effective training and mentorship. I work best when I understand how my tasks contribute to the big picture/team goal. In addition, I am deadline driven and take great pride in my work. I am a firm believer that"The way we do small things determines the way we do everything". This mantra inspires my attention to detail and fuels my work ethic. My final fun fact is I have discovered that I am most productive in three hour blocks with ten minute intellectually engaging breaks in between. Overall, my career goals are less of a static destination and more of a dynamic journey based on the mantra - I can't do it all at once, but I can do it all in a lifetime. In essence, I will feel accomplished at the end of life if I can say that throughout my career roles, my work contributed to making a positive impact on the individuals I interact with and society.
