I am currently employed as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Avalon Mechanical. I enjoy solving problems and working with a team. In my spare time I love playing and watching hockey. I am a graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria. I completed my degree in August 2020. I have had two Co-op engineering jobs, one for a year with Suncor Energy and the other with Coast Group Dynamics. During my Co-op with Suncor energy I was introduced to many different aspects of engineering. I learned how to read and interpret P & IDs, gained experience managing a project, and learned technical skills valuable for any type of engineering. With Coast Group Dynamics I gained hands on experience assembling boat seats and shock absorbers. After I graduated I operated/ managed a biogas plant for a year, which gave me valuable hands on experience.
