About Koen de Pelsemaeker

Koen began his career with the big-4 as an IT consultant where he assisted many clients to increase the reliability of systems and processes across the enterprise. His assignments included audits of financial statements, SOX and SAS70 attestations, information security management (ISO17799 - ISO27001/2), data management/privacy, business continuity management business risk management (AS/NZS 4360 and COSO ERM), data analysis and project management. After almost five years as an IT consultant, and after several European assignments, he decided to work for Colruyt (a large Belgian retailer). Koen joined Colruyt as corporate risk manager and introduced data and process analytics within the risk management department. After a few years, he became project manager for the Finance department. In his role as project manager, he worked on Colruyt's strategic Finance transformation program (SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation). Here he was responsible for overseeing and coordinating the solution design, master data, data migration, reporting, training, testing, security and controls, as well as infrastructure related activities. After the successful implementation of SAP S/4 Hana, Koen held the role of program manager within Colruyt for the Product Information Management Program. Currently, Koen is working as a program manager for PMV.
