About Koni Watson

University of Strathclyde with a First Class Honours. Throughout my time at university I have been a passionate and driven student. I have always had an interest in technology and how things work, in particular how a the coding behind a piece of technology and underlying electronic systems. This interest is the reason behind my choice in degree. This course has given me the opportunity to learn circuit design and analysis; how to write code in MATLAB, C, C++, Java, JavaScript and VDHL; experience with FPGAs; and the importance of Unit Testing. My final year project covered ultrasound array design for ROVs. In addition to my studies I was able to maintain part time jobs throughout my time in university while also participating in the Strathclyde Woman's Football team. This is demonstrative of my time management, organisation, communication and prioritisation skills. In my spare time, I have learnt HTML5 as part of a number of small website projects just for fun. I am very interested in graphic design and I have made posters and menus for previous jobs; and have made a logo and the icon for a coursemate’s app.
