Krishna Modhwadia is a 21-year-old comedy writer-performer born in Gujarat, India and raised in Birmingham. He was most recently commissioned by ITV to write the pilot for an original comedy series in development with Big Deal Films, and also won a place on the DYSPLA Storymakers Residency 2022 - a writing development program specialising in the creative & professional development of Neurodivergent artists. He just made his feature acting debut in Adam Deacon’s upcoming action-comedy ‘Sumotherhood’ and is currently undertaking his final term at the Kingdom School of Arts, where he was awarded a scholarship on their flagship actor training program. Krishna also has 3 years of experience working in behind-the-scenes production across numerous acclaimed comedies such as FX’s ‘Atlanta’, Apple TV+’s ‘Ted Lasso’ and BBC Three’s ‘Man Like Mobeen’, and was a delegate on the Edinburgh TV Festivals ‘The Network’ in 2020 as one of TV’s brightest new entrants that year.
