About Krystal Herrera

Hi, My name is Krystal Herrera received my diploma for medical administrative assistant from Vista College in June 2020. In December 2020 I also received my associates and now I am working on my bachelors degree hope to complete this in 2022 I have experience with some computer programs and with answering incoming calls. I also have experience as a team leader and as a manager. The last job I had was with a company named OptumRx. While I was at OptumRx I was part of the pharmacy help desk department. I was responsible for answering calls from pharmacies and help them with our member's medication. Such as if the member was eligible to have a refill if they are getting a rejection for refill to soon or if the member was eligible for an override to have the medication filled and even let the pharmacy’s know that the member needs a prior authorization from the doctor to have the medication. I loved my job with OptumRx, but it is time to get an actual career in the medical field.
