About Kyle McGuire

Throughout my life the public sector/ service has always intrested me wether its the role of a refuse collector,civil servant,police officer or member of parliment.The way in which the different roles run perpindicular with each other in order to keep our society going, this urge to better understand led me down the Public Service path in education and later i would complete a Higher National Certificate in Policing before i get into that lets get back to experience i had the of public service course i completed. One memory that always sticks in my head when i think back to the start of my course is the first physical training session i did it was a wet tuesday morning in the park and it was hill sprint time as we were all standing there suddenly a roar from the top of the hill echoed out among the trees the former soilder now lecturer is shouting three ranks which is a formation used in the army and police to get recruits/students ready. The shouting suprised me as i was not expectig such strict rigidness towards the work as we were only 17, from then my desire to learn more increased as over the next few years i would learn about Government Polices, Leadership and Teamowrk in the Public Services,Discipline in the Uniformed services,International Institutions and Human RightsPolice and the Criminal Justice System and Criminology and its practical application in the Police Service. My career ambition is work in the public sector. When im not studying the Public Services i enjoy working out,reading books and watching the office. Over the past few years i have gained a Pass grade for a Level 3 Subsidary Diploma in Public Services,a Double Grade Distinction Merit for a Level 3 Diploma In Public Services and finally completed a Level 4 Higher National Certificate graded at Distinction.
