After 20 years of pastoral ministry in music, youth, and discipleship, I answered a new call into licensed clinical social work to further empower and influence personal and social change. Experienced pastor with a demonstrated history of working in the civic & social organization industry. Skilled in Pastoral Counseling, Discipleship Training, Worship Leading, and Spiritual Direction. Strong community and social services professional with a Master of Arts (MA) focused in Christian Practice from Duke Divinity School. As a Howard prepared social worker (MSW), I am passionate about overcoming cultural divides, honoring the individual's history and culture, and working towards racial and economic justice and equity. As a Child and Family Therapist with the Bridging Families Program at Crossnore Communities for Children, my aim is to empower children, caretakers, and families to enhance their connections for healing, growth, and maturity. As a content creator, multiple instrument singer/songwriter, author, podcaster, band member of "Seeking Gravity" and 90s cover band "Squirrel Jam," I desire to make art that speaks to the human and the divine in all of us, and promote unity, peace, justice, and love.
