About Kyle Warren

I work as a registered nurse in a specialized psychiatric facility that operates according to a recovery-focused model of care. I work as a member of an interprofessional team to provide holistic care to our clients, which includes medication administration, mental status assessments, incident reporting, assistance with ADLs, physical care provision, and care planning. I am passionate about mental health work, as well as general medical knowledge, and am committed to lifelong learning and self-reflection throughout my career. I have previous experience working alongside clients with developmental disorders and communication challenges in their home environment, and work with a similar population in my current role. My clients also experience mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, so I am continuously building communication skills to help relay information and build rapport in unique ways. I have a high level of patience and empathy towards others, and this allows me to remain calm and unbiased while providing high quality, ethical care.
