Background
About Kyle Worley
I am a follower of God, a husband, a father, and a senior minister whose calling is to share the love of Jesus and equip others to do the same. God has prepared me for ministry from childhood through my family. I have grown up around ministry. Watching my parents minister to students through camps, conferences, and other student events as speakers, leaders, and directors has given me a vast exposure to youth ministry. During the summer of 2002, I was at a summer camp representing DCC, and God made His plans for my life clear: Youth Ministry. I love the role of ministering to students because I have the opportunity to be involved with students, do the things they do, and develop relationships with them as God gives me the opportunities to lead students in their walk with Him. My wife and I share a passion for ministering to young people. She ministers through counseling, as well as being a youth leader. I minister through developing leadership in youth leaders, building and deepening relationships with students, preaching to both students and adults, leading worship to both students and adults, and creating opportunities for family ministry to happen. I relate well to students who are athletes, those who have experienced difficulties in their lives, school band members, students seeking purpose, and others because of my own life experiences. It is truly a blessing and honor to answer God's calling on my life. Now that it is 2019, things have changed for my family and I. November 2018, I attended the National Youth Workers Convention in St. Louis, MO. While there, I attend a morning devotional by Tic Long on God's calling. He said,"God calls us to Himself and places us where He wants us to be." It was then that God said it was okay for me, a Youth Ministry guy, make the transition to be a Senior Minister. My heart is still for the Next Generation, but I believe I can help them by training up adults and young people to Love God first, then Love Others!
