As a Multimedia Designer and Professional Development Blogger, I craft engaging stories to help people discover affordable ways to learn and grow. One of my biggest ambitions is to help people through animation and writing. I created the professional development blog https://KyrabeStories.com as a way to express the theme of living life one story at a time. Many of us refuse to step out of our comfort zones out of fear of failure or criticism. As I continue to grow (and make mistakes along the way), I want others to know that there are others to reach out to and hopefully share their stories with! For a little bit of my background, I am a Veteran of the United States Navy. I had the oh-so-lovely experience of becoming an Aviation Structural Mechanic for H-60 helicopters with just the prior mechanical experience of fixing roller skates! Yeah, that was a HUGE change for a teen straight out of high school back then! The recruiters told me that I scored high on the mechanics part of the ASVAB, and I shouted back,"I guessed on that part!" Although mechanics never grew into a passionate calling, I am grateful that I was assigned that path. The experience thought me that we're capable of learning just about anything we set our minds to do, no matter how outrageously impossible it may seem. It also taught me a great deal about teamwork, leadership, and learning how to sleep just about anywhere on deployment (an Aircraft Carrier is a far cry from the luxury of a cruise ship). My purpose now is to use the Kyrabe Stories blog and my Multimedia skills as a guide for people who wish to leap from the comfort zones but aren't exactly sure where to land. We are capable of so many amazing things if we place in the faith that we can accomplish those tasks. I will provide whatever guidance I can to show that you're not alone in this journey, but only you can determine if you will succeed. It's your adventure. Make the most out of it one story at a time!
