Background
About Kyra Phipps
I have always been passionate about working in a school environment as I think that being able to assist in the development of children is an amazing and rewarding role. In September 2018 I started a course in Education Studies and Psychology at University, however, due to personal reasons I could not continue my studies. I am therefore keen to find an alternative route into getting back into the career path I had focused myself on. Due to my recent health struggles, there is a slight gap in my CV which was time dedicated to recovering. I now feel as though I am in a much better place and ready to move forward. Previously, I have worked as a dance teacher and therefore feel that this gave me an insight into working in a teaching environment. It allowed me to experience how it feels to educate children and to aid in their progression. I am therefore interested in training to become a teaching assistant and later, train to be a teacher.
