About Laina Ludwig

As a young person, I had a passion for stage theater, I worked in nearly every position including a bit of acting. There, I realized my love of storytelling and the emotional connection to the audience that comes with exploring new concepts and perspectives. I wanted to capture the emotion of the actors on a deeper level, I wanted to bring the audience closer than the stage could allow, I wanted to study filmmaking. I began taking Camera Operation and Editing classes at Denver Open Media, so I could have some experience before continuing my studies in college. I volunteered as a live Camera Operator and Camera Control Unit Operator for my church Mission Hills. I delighted in every moment I had behind the camera. I am now studying Digital Cinema at JBU where I have taken every opportunity to work or volunteer on film sets, including in the positions of Assistant Director, Camera Assistant, and Script Supervisor. I hope to continue pursuing my passion where ever it takes me.
