Before returning to The Barrett Group in 2021, I served as the Economic Development Director for the City of Cranston, Rhode Island, for 12 years as COVID-19 Subject Matter Expert in partnership with the State of RI, Department of Business Regulation, and the RI Department of Health. Contributed directly to the addition of over 200 new businesses and over new jobs to the city through proactive networking and selling prospective businesses on the advantages of relocating to Cranston. Maximizing revenue, crafting enterprise scaling strategies to bolster brand reputation, championing operational efficiencies, leveraging data & technology to streamline processes, optimizing budgets, boosting productivity, and dominating market share I have endeavored to design and deliver solutions to support continuous process improvements that ensure optimal efficiency and growth. This commitment continues as I work with executives navigating career changes, promotions, and recruitment firms. Officially recognized for assisting businesses with navigating the permitting process, cutting lead times by +50% and enabling businesses to open on a timely basis by developing/launching a Concierge Program in support of the City’s economic development.
