About Larry Hatcher

Excel, SQL, and Python: I have 10 plus years’ experience in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets. This includes using advanced functions, tools such as Pivot Tables, and creating visualizations in dashboards and reports. I have SQL experience and can create queries that allow me to cleanse and prepare data for analysis. In Python, I have mastered the fundamentals. I work with Anaconda as my source for Jupyter Notebook and VS Code. I understand and use NumPy, Pandas, Sklearn, Matplotlib, Seaborn and other libraries in analysis. I especially enjoy learning about the many different models in Sklearn and which would be the best for my analysis. I’m advancing in Machine Learning and regularly use Tensorflow and Keras. I have an advanced degree in Finance with excellent communication and customer service skills. I’m proud of my presentation/reporting skills especially while communicating with nontechnical people. I embrace technology and welcome the future. • MBA in Finance. My early career was spent in finance and accounting. I feel I have a deeper understanding of the objectives and goals of the company I am working with. • BA in psychology. After school, I worked for several years as a counselor. I enjoyed helping people, and this work has helped me understand and relate to people later in life. • I am a lifelong learner and curious about everything. I have studied and continue to study all aspects of the field. I have intermediate coding skills in Python and SQL. I’ve created Dashboards and visualizations in Excel and Tableau. I have also studied the Java and C languages. I learn and advance my skills in Python by doing projects. Many of these have involved Machine Learning and working with Neural Networks and Deep Learning. I love working with algorithms and enjoy the challenge of new software and technology. • I enjoy working with a knowledgeable team in a diverse workplace.
