About Larry Rogers

I am passionate about wildlife and the environment. I am committed to conservation of our wildest places and the flora and fauna that call those places home. I write and share the stories and photos of my years visiting national parks are other wild places. I currently have five titles published on Amazon and two titles published in the Apple bookstore. Following up on a successful tech career that included military service, US Government agency service, program management at Fortune 50 Procter & Gamble Company, commercial consulting in IT project management and 20+ years as CEO of a small IT consultancy, I made a personal commitment to Conservation by leading the study group,"The Conservancy Project" which seeks to leverage a broad pool of professionals with skills that are critical to conservation project work. The study seeks to culminate in the creation of a non-profit corporation that will work to match the skills of available professionals with the needs of our national parks, at the request of NGOs. I believe we can dramatically improve the availability as well as the capability matrix of people currently supporting and executing conservation projects. I am not alone in the study. I have three national and internationally experienced experts working with me on the initiative, and we are seeking more people like us to join the cause.
