About Laura Bennett

A successful Change Management professional with credentials and evidenced performance in the fields of Project Management and Human Resources. In a career spanning over 15 years in HRM I established a solid grounding as a generalist advising and supporting business units across the spectrum of recruitment, employee relations, policy and organisational change in large, complex and unionised environments. I refined and further specialised my experience with managerial positions leading resourcing and latterly learning and organisation development to support more strategic people and system change initiatives. Building on an increased focus on change management I diversified my experience into other types of change including contract re-negotiations, cost reductions, quality improvement, service re-design, legal change and business development in a range of public/education sector organisations. I have practiced both iterative and linear methodologies. I have operated independently as a Project Manager leading large scale independent projects; as a project/change manager within PMO’s and have set up a brand new PPSO within a functional department. I am currently broadening my experience within an EPMO. I am a highly motivated and pro-active individual with a particular affinity for co-production and collaborative working but with the confidence and competence to make decisions and act progressively as needed. I am a strategic thinker, creative problem solver and a dedicated developer of self and others. Ultimately I strive to make a difference and deliver positive change/difference to the organisations I work for and people I work with.
