About Laura Blakemore
I am a recent postgraduate from the University of Dundee in Forensic Archaeology and Anthropology. My research focuses have been in genocide, mass grave and disaster scenarios. My research interests include the development of non-invasive methods to locate mass graves, the complimentary relationship between archaeology and psychology, native archaeology, megafauna and Roman archaeology. In my current role as a floor support assistant I complete admin work within a team whilst completing short courses to fill gaps in my knowledge. I am currently undertaking courses on the Vikings and Ancient Egypt through Oxford University Continuing Education and a course on the architecture of Ancient Rome. In September I will be completing a short course on GIS through Oxford University.
