About Laura Grey

I am a professional, hardworking software engineer in training who enjoys working alone as well as in a collaborative team, and who is very passionate about providing top-notch coding skills and ensuring quality content is always provided. Learning 3 full-stacks in 3 months has been has challenging, exciting, and rewarding. As I become comfortable working in both front end and back end development, growing my knowledge of web development has become a new passion. Being drawn to computers from a young age and enjoying being able to utilise them in various ways in previous jobs, when I was deciding to make a career change the choice of software engineer just felt right. Having just come out of a career in healthcare I am well versed in working with many different personalities harmoniously with great interpersonal skills, as well as having strong time management and organisational abilities. Being able to think on my feet and have patience are also traits I have honed well. With my knowledge of Python, MERN, Java and JavaScript I have created several projects using these languages and am anxious to get started in a position where I can put these new skills to use!
