I have many strengths and wear many hats. I am a highly social, energetic, strong female with a passion for gathering people together.especially over a shared passion. According to StrengthsFinder 2.0, my top strength is WOO (Winning Others Over, which is apparently rare)- proof of how social I am! I am great at coordinating events and finding reasons to gather like-minded people. I am a passionate community servant who desires to encourage, inspire, challenge, and help people in living life as I feel I was made to do. I help with my husband's ministry and use my family's business ventures to honor and serve customers, and is a vehicle by which I have flexibility of time in order to serve my family, friends, and our community. I am seeking ways to utilize and further my skills as a behavior expert, whether in home or school settings. I am a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and BCAP certified (Board Certified Autism Professional), having been in the field of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) since May 2005. I am seeking ways to be supportive to families of people with special needs/autism on a consultative basis, whether the needs be focused on communication, behavior, daily living skills, etc. I am seeking ways to help special educators to create a supportive and successful classroom that works to communicate with and educate parents as well as adapting and modifying instruction based on each individual student’s needs stated within their IEP. My specialty areas are staff buy-in, skill acquisition to assist behavior reduction.
