About Leah Mutenga

I am a dedicated, caring, and reliable person with over 10 years’ experience working in both KS1-KS2, Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), and many other Educational settings. I have supported children and young people with a variety of special educational needs such as Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Dyslexia, and behavioral and emotional difficulties (SEN). I also support parents in building relationships and finding ways to complement and enhance their child’s wellbeing. I have excellent interpersonal skills which have enabled me to build strong relationships with families and colleagues. I have a sound understanding of a child’s development and needs including knowledge of early years foundation stage statutory framework (EYFS) and can make observations of performance and development. As well as being meticulous in my approach to any task, and to work autonomously or within a team, I also have proven ability to prioritize a diverse workload, multitasking at a high level whilst communicating to the highest of standards.
