About Lee Bissonnette

As a Logistics Officer, I am trained to manage and coordinate various departments within the military. In my current position as a Previous Learning Assessment Request (PLAR) Coordinator, I am required to manage, coordinate and distribute official communication to members of the Canadian Armed Forces. In addition to my current role, I developed an efficient tracking system within Microsoft Excel in order to provide accurate and meaningful up-to-date statistics. I have also had the privilege of working with the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) defence unit within the Canadian Armed Forces. This unit would provide treatment for injured military personnel and civilians should a threat ever be encountered, and was deployed during the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, BC. My work ethic, dedication and self-drive was rewarded with a certificate of appreciation from the Commanding Officer of the unit. My experience within the tactical cell team at my Canadian Forces Reserve unit included budget development and acquiring new capacity for the unit. We worked on several projects including survival training, mountain rescue and simulation special effects. This required excellent teamwork and organizational skills.
