About Lee Wheeler

In 2020, I brought my extensive public accounting experience to the team at Genius Gourmet. Working in close collaboration with the CEO, President, and its founders, I oversee key aspects of the company’s operations, logistics, accounting, budgeting, and financing. Genius Gourmet’s "Deliciously Smart Keto and Protein Snacks" make living a healthy lifestyle easy and can be found at retailers online and throughout North America. Before joining Genius Gourmet, I was an accounting and financial analyst for Till Capital Corp, a multi-faceted publicly traded company with various complex assets in the mining, insurance, and marketable securities industries. Reporting directly to the C suite, I managed all aspects of consolidations and finalization of financial statements. Additionally, I oversaw the creation of managed assets schedules, mineral property schedules, marketable security schedules, and financial data for all companies under the Till umbrella. Working with complex multinational entities with assets around the world, I have a deep understanding of the public company reporting and regulatory landscape. I brought this discipline and my enthusiasm for the consumer marketplace to Genius Gourmet. Since joining Genius Gourmet, the Company has more than doubled in revenue each year, and I oversaw the complete overhaul of the company's financial management, accounting, inventory systems, and internal control processes. Our finance department touches nearly every aspect of the business, helping supervise operations across North America. Outside of work, I am passionate about being civically active, serving as Treasurer for the City of Hauser, ID and previously Treasurer/Director for the Kootenai County Water District. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and two children and can be frequently found camping, boating, hunting, and snowboarding.
