My career goals are grounded in my dedication to serving as a positive agent of change within my community and commitment to agendas of social change and equity. Possessing a versatile skill-set, I am adept at navigating a multitude of employment settings. I have engaged in clinical social work practice, graduate and undergraduate instruction, curriculum development and administration. I have an active research and scholarship agenda that has explored improving the lives of individuals and their families. These experiences fostered efficiencies in- Clinical Therapy (individual & group)- Universal Design and Instruction in Higher Education- Communication (verbal & written)- Leadership- Community engagement- Program evaluation - Conflict resolutionFrom over a decade of community and clinical education and practice, to my intensive postdoctoral training at the Yale School of Medicine, I have honed additional competencies in- Grant writing- Advanced analytics and data collection Choosing to align my career goals with my life's values has allowed me an expansive trajectory, an exploration of multiple paths, experiences, people, and opportunities that continuously allow for personal and professional growth, learning and inspiration.
