About Lesley McAteer

Creative Partner and Director at McAteer Photograph, I’m as likely to be producing a lifestyle photoshoot or discussing contracts, as managing our close-knit team, or developing a client image library. A graduate of Heriot Watt University in Industrial Textile Design I started in the music industry on graduating and then spent 9 years as a senior producer of large scale outdoor events before joining McAteer Photograph in 2003. Here my event production experience and artistic training are key skills that help me fulfil my multifaceted and busy role. Founded in 2002, McAteer Photograph still sticks to its original forming principals of providing high quality images at a realistic cost. We offer the full range of commercial photography services and specialise in architecture and interiors. We also deliver a wide range of complementary services including videography, creative web illustration and a full production service. I handle the administration involved in running the company and account manage many of our large client accounts. Our clients trust us to deliver a high quality and reliable service and I really enjoy the longstanding relationships we have built. I handle many of the non-photography services we provide and this includes helping clients to shape a creative brief, producing mult-scale shoots and managing client image libraries. I love how varied my role is and get great satisfaction out of producing shoots, no matter their size. I enjoy the buzz of building and managing a production team of stylists, hair and make-up artists, lighting techs and production assistants. Overseeing the process from start to finish and seeing a delighted client return to us time and again makes me very happy.
