About Leslie Roberts

Former Director of Medical Management Leslie Roberts, RN, BSN, CCM serves as the Director of Medical Management for Utilization Review and Case Management for a third party administrator. Nationally certified in case management, I have extensive management experience and was the senior clinician in my former position. I first joined the company in 1996 as a Nurse Case Manager, and later in 2006 was appointed to the Director role. I have over 25 years of experience working in the fields of utilization review, quality assurance, discharge planning, and have worked in case management for the last 15 years. My past clinical experience included hospital-based nursing positions in ICU, NICU, Critical Recovery and Post-Anesthesia Recovery services. In addition to my strong clinical background, I also have a breadth of experience in both the hospital and managed care arenas related to medical management. My positions in the hospital setting included: Quality Assurance Reviewer, Utilization Review Coordinator, and Director of Utilization Management and Discharge Planning. I also served as a Nurse Case Manager at a national independent case management company, as well as at a payor setting.
