About Leyla Akbulut

I graduated from Gazi University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department with bachelor's and master's degrees. I work as a lecturer at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, Department of Electricity and Energy. I was accepted to the R&D project from the regional development agency on behalf of the university where I worked last year. In this project, I installed 145 kWp solar power plant and renewable energy infrastructure laboratory. Three years ago, Turkey's largest electricity distribution company R&D engineers was working in Meram Electricity Distribution Company. Before that, I worked as a project and field engineer in several Electric Firms. I worked as the largest grant program offered researchers in Turkey. These projects are related to the impact analysis of the distributed generation facilities on the electricity distribution network. It also included many renewable power plant installations. I also took part in short and long term network transformation projects of Meram Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. We used the Sincal program in this project. I did my master's thesis on Electricity Distribution Network Optimization. I developed a model on a real network using the MATLAB program. I searched for the suitability of the genetic algorithm and mixed integer algorithm to my model and discovered how the network can be redesigned at the most cost-effective way. I won a very important international scholarship program in Turkey in November (YLSY).
