I have gained 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry beginning at a 4 diamond resort & a Hilton resort, supervising staff at the Residences at 2211 high-rise near the Biltmore, & valeting for Steak 44 & Dominick's steakhouses. I began with the Arizona Grand Resort in 2016 as a bellperson after 2 years in retail. The AZ Grand trained a unique approach to service,"Aggressive Hospitality". The following will explain: every guest or vehicle was greeted & offered assistance, guests appearing lost were offered a ride, if escorting a guest at check-in & their room was not prepared to a 4 diamond standard, a radio call to dispatch with a request for new accommodations that were up to standard, would be made without hesitation, staff's best judgement was critical to success. Aggressive Hospitality requires the ability to empathize, I have & will always strive to follow this standard whether I find myself in hospitality, utilizing my IT certifications, in retail, or I find myself in a role in programming (the focus of my ongoing education) because I believe it builds rapport and helps to create unforgettable experiences in any industry that allow those we assist, to trust us to accomodate their needs. I began a new role outside of bell services at the Residences at 2211 in 2019 & remained in this position as a Lobby Ambassador for 5 years. Staff had policy to never deny a request or state that we didn't know an answer. We always offered solutions within our resources or searched for an answer or expert to assist with any request. This role helped me in discovering that I am a natural problem solver, I thrive providing assistance & anticipating the needs of others, I received recognition many times for my dedication & eventually promoted to supervisor and tasked with the scheduling of staff. I am seeking a full-time position where I can use my skills to solve problems with innovation. I continue to pursue an education automating tedious and error prone processes primarily using Excel VBA & Python (successfully deployed projects available for review upon request) as well as software & AI development. I am willing to work a position in any field and am excited to branch out as long as it will enhance my current qualifications or allow me to learn new ones. I have extensive experience in service and am eager to continue to focus my abilities on solving problems, offering solutions, & eliminating stress. I guarantee giving all of my efforts on becoming a valuable asset for my team & leaders, but most importantly, providing unforgettable service.
