There I was, going into another meeting feeling overly self-conscious around all "the big wigs". I never had the confidence to walk into a room, let alone speak up! I felt like I couldn't measure up and struggled with self-esteem. Like a spectator at a sporting event, I sat on the sidelines watching opportunities go by. I was afraid of stepping out and being bold because I didn't feel comfortable with myself, my weight, and was afraid I'd look foolish. Sound familiar? I finally realized I was sabotaging my own career and getting passed over for promotions because I didn't dress with intention. Your image sends a message before you even speak.
