About Lillian Crowder

Raised on a farm, my interest in finance comes from an unconventional background. Growing up, I was exposed to the daily challenges and strategic choices my family and neighbours made to ensure the success of agriculture. I witnessed how supply and demand fluctuations and external factors like climate conditions, pricing, and government policy could significantly impact crop yields and the economic well-being of my community. Now, immersed in an undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria with an International exchange at Bocconi University, I've recognized how valuable my upbringing has been to both my learning and my career goals in finance. As I look ahead, I am excited to continue learning and growing in the finance industry, aiming to increase my exposure to M&A strategy, DCM, ESG analysis and sector research. Beyond hard skills, I bring determination and an innate desire for continual improvement, bolstered through a long career of competitive swimming. I also have an appetite for calculated risk, honed through my love for backcountry skiing and I bring curiosity and creativity, continually reinforced through my love of food, mixed media art, and strategy games.
