About Lily Annand

I am an MFA student in Animation and Visual Effects at the University of Central Florida, building on a BFA in Emerging Media. My journey spans from leading my peers in modeling on an award-winning thesis film to shaping live entertainment experiences with Disney. Beyond production, I serve as President of UCF’s SIGGRAPH chapter and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, roles that reflect my passion for mentoring peers and fostering creative communities. My thesis film, Key Memories, explores dementia and the connection between music and memory, following a granddaughter and grandmother who rediscover joy and closeness through playing piano together. My long-term goal is to bring compelling characters and worlds to life in collaborative studio environments where both creativity and community thrive.
